Hills, South Arizona
« on: May 17, 2019, 09:41:15 pm »

I posted this image earlier but had to take it down.  A reviewer pointed out a large dark line
in the pic that I never saw.  I apoloigize for wasting your time.

Comments are welcomed and appreciated.

Nice. I especially like the sky in the right half of the picture. It complements well the mountains below.

The sky/clouds and the quality of the light are outstanding.

Mountain and sky great. Just needs a bit more breathing space at the bottom, in my opinion.

That was me! Apologies unnecessary. Did you discover what the line was?

I still like it, although I agree with Slobodan that a little more space at the bottom (and, I think, at the top if possible) would be beneficial.

Very nicely seen Mark, I too agree with Slo & Jeremy about the upper and lower margins.

Jeremy, again, thanks for pointing out the flaw.  When you asked me about the purpose of the black smudge in my
image my initial reaction "was what the heck is he talking about?"  The second I looked at my picture I saw it.  I swear,
I never saw it previously.  No, I do not have the foggiest idea where it came from.  I did not do the type of editing on
this image that would have left such a mark.

Bikir, Stamper, Petermfirore, and Francois thanks for your kind comments.  My role in the lighting was just trying not to screw it up.

Slobodan, Jeremy, and kevin, I will give your suggestion a try and add some more breathunbg room..

It was suggested that I open this image up a bit by including more foreground
and background -- attached.  I also removed some of the hype I had in the
original image.

Comments and suggestions welcomed.

I like this new version.

So do I. It looks rather orange, but maybe that's the way it was.

Thanks Scott and Jeremy.  Jeremy, I believe I shot this image in late daylight.  Hopefully,
this accounts for its orange light.

I like the last version best. Printing will also be easier. The orange light doesn't bother me. Here, an orange or yellow light is a sign of a possible hail storm…
