I was wondering if there comes a time when one begins to know the difference between indolence and genuine lack of interest in a formerly all-consuming obsession?

Hmmm... the difference might be lawyer’s fees. Divorce lawyer, that is  ;)

Which brings us back to blunt weapons.

So much for those who thought we couldn't stay on topic.

Brilliant weather these past few day, but very cold because of that.

My French restaurant reopens on Sunday after a long, bleak winter closure, but I only go week days to avoid the standard 50% price hike standard here on the isle on Sundays. They leave no stone unturned in pursuit of that percentage!

Speaking of stones, this morning I tested out the field car park that has to be used in order to drive to eat there, unless one wants a fifteen minute walk, and the rocks are ever more pronounced than ever as the earth gets washed away by the winter rains. I may opt for the walk - I'm doing 90mins twice a day already, so no real problem (unless I wear something out), just a local inconvenience and something enduring about which to moan to the local authorites. What would one do without them?
