Something to consider for such a small print run, would be to print yourself and have an old fashioned bookbinder make the books for you. Gives you lots of options for binding, leather covers or whatever. Obviously much more expensive, but in no way comparable, in the sense that you will not be using a commercial 4 colour or other printing machine.
(FWIW, Indigo has 7 colours, even white, silver, or other spots and can print on many substrates, like wood, canvas whatever. You can even have stone, or slate covers if you want. It also does an excellent 'lay flat', which is great for images. There is a high quality printer doing this sort of thing in Switzerland. Not sure exactly where, but shouldn't be too hard to find).
