The End of Autumn
« on: January 20, 2019, 11:23:23 am »

A dying hosta leaf in a garden in New Brunswick Canada mid-October. Aesthetic comments welcome.
Toning on the brown parts of the leaf were difficult to get right to my eye. Ended up using a bunch of "Charles Cramer" type curve adjustments.

I like the first one: dark and moody.

We had lots of sad-looking hosta leaves in our yard this fall. Today they are covered in fresh snow (first of the winter.)
