Hi!
I have discovered a print service in Germany that offers Acrylic/Dibond mounting at a price that others take for Dibond alone.
https://www.digitaldruck-fabrik.de/werbeschilder/gallery-print.aspx.
But they don't accept customer-supplied prints. They offer only 1 paper: Schoeller H 62210 Ultra Satin 240. My concern is the "satin". In the technical data, the gloss is described as BYK(60°) ISO 2813: 19 - some of you might know what that means. The printer is a HP DesignJet Z6810.
Does it make sense to use acryl mounting to achieve the ultimate in glow and at the same time sacrifice contrast range with a satin paper?
Ultimately I will have to try, but that is not quite that straightforward. My hitherto print service has done the print sharpening. For a fair comparison, I would need to buy and learn QImage. So maybe some of you would have viewpoints on this?
Add on: The paper I would compare with is Epson Premium Glossy.
