And a couple of reviews by guys that got to use them pre-production:

https://www.prophotonut.com/2019/01/17/fujifilm-gf-100-200mm-f5-6-r-lm-ois-wr-first-impressions/

It appears to be a really fine lens, but I wouldn't classify anything written by someone who describes himself as a "Fuji X-Shooter" as a "review." They are paid hypesters who write paeans.

True, at least they were up front about it :)
So far nobody that does not have official ties to Fuji have had it in their hands.  Based on all the other GFX lenses, personally I'm not too worried though, Fuji has an outstanding track record when it comes to lenses.

Having tried many adapted lenses on the GFX, there's a big difference between "covers the 44x33 sensor" and getting good corner performance from those lenses.  Indeed there are a number of lenses that cover the 44x33 sensor or get very close to it but in almost all cases, except tilt/shift lenses, the corner performance of those lenses that do cover the sensor in the corners is abysmal.
What focal lengths have you experimented with? I have read the rule of thumb that at focal lengths well beyond the format diagonal (55mm in this case) there is not much difference in design for different formats, because the lenses naturally produce an image circle of diameter about 2/3 of focal length or more, and in a smaller circle of diameter up to about 1/2 the focal length, the IQ does not fall of much from center performance. The MTF curves I have seen for longer lenses tend to support this; fairly flat from center to corner. At least, a lot flatter than for normal and wide lenses.

Now that Fuji has officially announced their new 100-200mm Zoom Lens, it is refreshing that Fuji, unlike the Hasselblad and their X1D lenses, choose to keep the price at a reasonable level. I look forward to the next Fuji 50-100mm Zoom and hope it will priced accordingly.
