Mt Stepafell
« on: September 14, 2018, 12:15:01 PM »

Near Bįršar Snęfellsįss, legend has it that elves inhabit the area and magic occurs at the top of the peak. What kind of magic, I don't know. There is a stone statue (cairn really) of Bįršar nearby who exiled his daughter on an iceberg; or something like that. Nice fellow. Not sure whether the mountain guards the statue or the other way round. By the way, I was not leading a workshop ;)

Butchering halve your dynamic range in a scene like this should be punishable by excommunication.

This would look great in a really big print.

Thanks fellas. I admit that the DR could be opened up some more, and the jpeg compression doesn't help, but that wouldn't fit with the mood. Going to print some canvases in the coming weeks, Eric!
