Backstage Pass

10,000 ISO, f/4, 1/160 in the worst stage lighting I've had to endure in years shooting this event. However, got to love a camera that can handle high ISO's (Nikon D500).

The equipment just keeps getting better and better, Chris. Too bad we can't say the same thing about the photographers.

Nice, looks like a fun event. I've been thankful for good high ISO performance at concerts lately too! My local venue could really use a lighting upgrade. When bigger bands come with their own lighting systems the difference is staggering, especially in the photos!

2004, 6-megapixel, ISO 1600 was pretty brutal. I often opted for a dramatic B&W rendering rather than colour. I still don't own a camera that's really good at high ISO. But, then, I don't have to please a client.
