Were I not so old I'd love to have one, but as it would most likely outlive me, and if not, at least be shackled to somebody probably unable to exercise it properly - I remember our last alsabrador and the energy she had! - it would be cruel. Worse, large dogs frighten people, and an adult alsation is most unlikely to be accepted by other people when the original owner/friend dies.
