+1.
Thanks guys. The etching appearance, I believe, is from using high ISO. And if you sharpen it accentuates the etching. So I actually softened it a bit. That was the last of the bright colours. Now it mostly browns.
And from that same parking lot as darkness approached, I got this:

Sort of abstract. I was trying to capture a beautiful sunset but couldn't get around the wires. The colours faded and I was about to give up when I realized I could do wires and clouds a la abstract.

Works nicely.

So now you carry a wire-cutter in your back pocket whenever you go out, right?

What, did I hear my name somewhere in the ether?  ;)

I like it, a very productive play period.

The pair of puddles is also very captivating.

See? That wire cutter worked really nicely. There are no wires interfering with this lovely image.   :)

Thanks Arlen, Eric and Degrub. I deliberately kept the colours subdued so that greys could come through and not be overwhelmed by strong bright colours.

A time gone by. Now the leaves have all fallen and it is blustery and cool. A landscape waiting for the snow.
