Lovely colors. Can't help but say that given the serenity of the scene, you might consider a square crop from near the top of image; I find the bottom rocks distracting, along with the bottom half of the big boulder, and would like to see the cairn separated from them with nothing to interfere.

I liked this image a lot on my first viewing. And then I read David's comment and I tried on-screen cropping as he suggested, and to my surprise, I felt it was stronger that way. The cairn becomes more important.

I think the cairn is an important element here. It shows evidence of human activity in a scene that would be completely "natural" without it. Yet its presence seems to respect the scene rather than dominating it.

I like it a lot (and yes, you are permitted to show more than one image from Savoy.   ;)
