A friend just acquired this printer for his company and I have a few questions to help him with this machine.
I use windows but he uses Mac. By the end of the week, he will recept his new I mac, certainly with the latest OS. The printing interface in MAC, (printing from PS) is kind of different than the one on Windows so I was a bit confused with the settings that I usually find in windows but not on Mac.
For example :
I'm used to printers like the R3000 so my guess is that the pilot isn't the same for the P8000 and thus you don't have the same options.
So my first question is: Can I find a RIP software to use on the P8000 to allow more options or can I find all major settings on MAC with the usual driver?
My second question is: He just discovered that while printing, his documents end up 2% bigger than what he wants and he can't figure it out.
This is important to me because he is my art print provider.
