every single time I try to post, it takes four or five times for the post not to "time out." Why?

too many of us online ?
web host issue ?
server issue ?
PC's browser cache ?
if you are on cable, too many of your neighbors playing high bandwidth games/movies ?

the windows three fingered salute might work - a reboot ?
see if it goes away. i would bet on #2,3, or 5 personally.

Very fast computer, super high bandwidth and this just started about a week ago.

There used to be some sort of time limit from the time you hit reply until you hit post. I remember losing a few replies that way.

Is the time out occurring that way or while uploading an image or something else ?

I got my last image up and ready to post in less than 30 seconds...I'm not sure I could do it any faster. something on this end as I have no issues on any other forums.
