I own the P800 and am very happy with it coming from a 4800 which clogged if it was looked at the wrong way. It also prints small photos unlike the 4800 which started at 8 x 10. I do miss the vacuum platen it was easier working with curled paper from a roll. Don't know about the 5000. I guess if money and space are no object then the bigger ink set,wider gamut, and resolution of the 5000 would be desirable.
