is this a headstrike? Canson Canvas

today i was printig some canvas on canson Photoart pro canvas, is the first time on this material. i notice this problems, but i dont know of is problem of the canvas o was just a headstrike.

the top of the roll look weird, but i think is normal.

That's not a head strike.  It looks more like the coating on the canvas has come off (prior to printing).

You're having the EXACT same problem I had when using the ProArt canvas on my 7800. Since all the other canvases (about 10) I've used never had this problem I just put it down to the canvas being too stiff for the vacuum to hold it flat (though it could actually be some other problem). Conversely, Canson's MuseumPro canvas is superb in comparison and is now my favorite canvas due to both its soft easy to handle 100% cotton weave and very low tooth surface.
