Once I add the +19 clarity and medium contrast tone curve that X Transformer seems to add to the .dng to the .RAF in Lightroom both appear near identical to me.

Has anyone compared a file with X-Transformer, at default settings to one developed in Developer with default settings? Developer clearly has a lot more options in file manipulation but X-Transformer is simple, smooth and makes a great file. I own both and go back and forth depending on the file and my mood.

Won't that give you the worst output for each?
Like you I go between the two depending on what I'm using the final image for and the content.
For some files there is no difference and for others X-Transformer comes out ahead on detail. I think Photo Ninja still comes out ahead for highlight recovery.

One thing is sure, 3.2 rocks on D850 files!

XTransformer works on Fuji X-E3 RAW converting them to DNG. Somewhat slow and files larger than the RAW but readable in LR 6 and Capture One 10.
