Two interiors

Are these disorienting? Or is it just me?

I don't find them disorienting but somehow they rise above what ought to be the humdrum.

I like the claustrophic feel from the ceiling in the laundromat.

Both first class, Bob. I used to do the same kind of thing but I think you did it better than I did it.

Besides being very good, I think what is striking about these images is that we often go by such scenes and seldom think of them as good subjects to photograph. Excellent!

Thanks, Russ. That is high praise coming from you. I've learned a lot about street photography by reading your comments on the genre.  I am not sure the photos I've posted qualify as "street," but the overlap is undeniable.

Thanks for the ego boost, Bob. Here's one of mine from St. Augustine. I don't think it measures up to yours, though I do like the reflection of the guy's face in the window.

All three (Bob's and Russ's) are excellent, because they draw you in and force you to look intently at a scene that most of us would pass right by.

Oh, Russ: I'll admit that I briefly considered cropping out the left hand couple in yours to help emphasize the reflection of the guy on the right, but cropping would weaken the image (as usual).

I like both but the first one is the best for me.

The reflection of the guy's face is interesting. I like that concept. Now, I will be on the watch for that type of situation. ... There's no shortage of new things to learn about seeing with a camera.
