Does anybody lnow from whence cometh the original film of the Betty Grable lookalike dancing? I've seen this clip in many videos but can't seem to find the entire sequence.

I wish! Sadly, I was a fairly late starter.

I think the Betty Grable lookalike is Christina Aguilera. Someone in the video comments suggests this too.

But I was paying more attention to Mr. Rockabilly's guitar:D

Hi Dave,

I hate  say this, but I have a mental off-switch about all of these currently (?) popular singing women. The last one to make the hair on the back of my neck stand up was Loretta Lynn, mostly due to the accent...

However, accents aside, I th¡nk Julie London had a wonderful voice and delivery.

Guitars. Having been humiliated by one over the course of seven or so years, I have no love left for them other than to listen.

;-)

You are right!

Keep all the MF cameras in the world, all of the things I don't have, and just give me an afternoon with this wench, made up as she is, and the run of a street somewhere in busiest Rome, where I can use all the reflections, bars, etc. etc. to make the ultimate portfolio, after which I really don't mind saying good night!

Yes, it looks like it was clipped from Christina Aguilera's video "Candyman"
