Printing on Mylar with the Epson 9900?
« on: November 01, 2016, 10:58:16 am »

I have a client requesting prints on mylar. I couldn't find anything on the Epson site about mylar, but found this: https://epson.ca/For-Work/Paper/Pro-Imaging/CrystalClear-Film/m/S045151

I can't find any reference as to what type of ink I can use with this.  Any ideas?

https://www.epson.nl/viewcon/corporatesite/products/consumables/overview/paper/gprp/ccffe

PET film so equal to Mylar. With a coating.
SP WT7900 is mentioned as a suitable printer as it has a white ink too;
¨witte inkten op de SP WT7900, samen met UltraChrome HDR-inkten C, LC, M, LM, Y, Or, Gr,"

Met vriendelijke groet, Ernst
