Any time I've shot from a helicopter, someone else was paying the bill which helps a lot.

I've only done it as part of helicopter skiing. I was paying but it was a bad year and it was deeply discounted. Fun to fly around in the heli but the skiing was terrible! I also wasn't allowed to open the window.
