Semi-abstract tree patterns
« on: March 21, 2016, 01:56:33 pm »

I love trees in almost any form or representation but I am often struck by the patterns that they make which, if not actually abstract, are certainly different from the immediate and 'factual' impression that they give - often highlighted when rendered in monochrome because that is not how we conventionally see them.

Here are three examples of what I mean - in what, to my eye, is increasing degrees of abstracted pattern - I would welcome your views and comments.
