A great image but the converging verticals sort of bother me. Did you try correcting them in Photoshop at all?

Hmmm...

Not such a bad idea. I lose parts of the image, and the sense they are looking down on you, but it actually might fit my vision better. Thank God* for the Critique forum, one does get some useful advice.

* Disclaimer for my comrades atheists: I am referring to God metaphorically. I say "Jesus!" when surprised, and "thank God" when grateful. The power of tradition.

Slobodan, you know that you can't please everybody. It is obvious that the verticals could be straightened. But the result remains somehow imperfekt because it's just a fraction of the fassade with still frayed edges. But that doesn't matter because the picture focusses on the bright colors and the mannequins. Having said this the straightening doesn't improve that picture for me.

I've gone back to view the original and compared it with the new, straighter version. They are both good, but I think I still prefer the original.

This is about Kanye West and God, not anyone on this forum, of course :)

I prefer the straight version. Also, although I usually break out in a rash if anyone gives me cropping advice, I'd be tempted to then crop the left & right along one of the black verticals to get rid of the "frayed edges"... at least to see how it looks.

I actually shot one like that on location (with much less need for straightening and cropping). I am still in favor of the OP, as I think the multitude, the sheer number of mannequins in it, combined with them looking down on us, gives a different impression, closer to what I had in mind.

Hi Slobodan,

Congratulations! My first impression when reading your above post is that you had won the first prize in the Fashion category, but the word 'Nominee' implies that your excellent photographic representation (of the foolishness of humanity  ;) ) has at this stage just been selected for a future, ongoing competition for the final prize. Is this correct?

Correct, except the competition is over.

That would be my choice, too.
It's still very nice.
