I'm in southern Arizona and things are definitely waking up.

Last weekend I visited Peridot Mesa, a location known for it's Mexcan poppies.

The best source for info is the Wild in Arizona blog, which Paul Gill and Colleen Miniuk-Sperry update. I would recommend checking out their field reports for more info.
