A Mist Opprortunity

Woke up early for Big Talbot Island, but the sunrise was replaced with a rainy drizzle.

Hey it may be a missed opportunity but i think the result is great.

I enjoy the composition with the dead trees on the right.

One suggestion would be to crop in on the left side a bit, to a more 4x5 ratio.

Just my kind of shot. I must disagree with the idea of cropping anything off the left: I like the balance exactly the way it is. You've not overdone the long exposure either, so there's still something left in the water. Good job.

I like how the trees trap the eye that follows the line of the shore.

Wow what a place ! and the trees are epic. The trees for a future image for sure. The image is very
good. My only nit is the mid tones are a little on the high side for my taste. I like images
a tad on dark side. A few clicks of darker mid tones really adds to the drama of this image but
that is just me. The comp is fine where it is.

+1 to what has already been said, and let me add that I love the varying hues in the foreground rocks.
