panasonic lumix DMC L1

hello,
I have tried the panasonic lumix DMC L1 in store the other day. i love the look, the functions etc... but not sure about the final quality of the whole thing... It is my first crossing from argentique to numerique. does someone have this camera and can give me some help? I am afraid it does not give the best in low light pictures and moving subjects... thanks!

small ps 27 feb. 07...i was looking around the panasonic forum at dpr and found two threads with quite a few people complaining about problems...ccd death, weird color things happening...panasonic has put out this notice : see below,...not sure what the story is for cameras purchased new today...perhaps no problem at all...
