Yes, IMHO!

(Of course you will have to wait for Russ to calculate the Ambiguity Quotient to be certain.)   :)

I like the facial expressions and the way they are all looking in different directions.

I think so. A nice snapshot of 'life' with interactions and activity all over the place.

It's pretty darn good, Stamper. As Tom pointed out, it looks like a takeoff on one of Winogrand's most famous shots. What makes it for me is the two black ladies talking to each other past the blond girl between them, and the expression on the girl's face. I think it would improve the picture if you got a bit away from your standard harsh contrast and brought up the faces on the two talking ladies a bit -- mainly because this isn't the kind of picture that smashes you in the mouth. You have to study it a bit to get it.

Russ, you are correct about the two black ladies and the blonde girl. That was what attracted me. I have to disagree about the black faces. How do you lighten a black face without making it look false. Thanks for the feedback.

Like this. You don't overdo it. You just try to bring out the planes of the face. In a raw image you could do more than I've done here.

Russ white areas on a Negro face don't look very flattering imo. Because the faces are pure black in reality then white areas look like over exposure.  :(

It's your picture, my friend, and it's a good one. But the high planes aren't white. They're gray. Everything in the picture is a shade of gray. You need some high planes to give the faces shape. ;D

Yes it is. Study the action in the Winogrand picture for the sheer pleasure of it, plus the learning curve. Wouldn't all us 'street' types aspire to that kind of work! Stupid question, I know!
