Thanks, Rodger. I like your photographs too. I'm pretty familiar with Montana. I was stationed at Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls for nearly three years back in the middle fifties, and flew Beavers (a bush plane) into our radar sites all over the state, over North and South Dakota, and over Manitoba. I came back again for a bit more than a year in 1974. I loved that part of the country, and I love Colorado, though we're getting ready to move to Florida for good.

Hopper's fascinating. He's a minimalist who can strike straight to your soul with a simple scene. I think you did a great job of chasing him, though I don't think anyone can catch him with a camera.

It's late, and I've got to quit, but tomorrow I'm going to look at your web and "The Waterworks Series."
