Does anyone know for sure if a PC cable from the back to a studio strobe
can be a LOCKING type?  I see threads.... but would like to know for sure!!!

The locking type is the one you screw in, yes?

If so, then yes - they screw into the pc socket on the IQ (at least, they do on my IQ180).

If you're looking for something PocketWizard specific, you can order their PC5N cables. The N denotes a locking cable (the PC3N cables that come with the Plus IIIs also work.)
