First on film - Fuji G617 - Stanthorpe & Brisbane City
« on: June 23, 2013, 06:38:33 am »

Well I got my first film camera (Fuji G617) a little under 3 weeks ago and since, I have shot and had developed 3 rolls of film.

I headed to Stanthorpe with my son and wife a few days after I got the camera so I tested it out there.  I also did a Brisbane City sunrise.  Here are 5 of the shots.  To my surprise I only really stuffed up 2 exposures.  One of them I knew I had stuffed up as I didn't know how to use my cable release properly and the other one I just under-exposed as it was fairly early in the morning.

For those of you interested I put up a blog post about my first few outings here

Thanks,

Indeed you didn't eff up!

If anything, you provided a breath of fresh air. Remided me of the pleasures of the lightbox!

Good luck with the new machine.

It's a very different way of making images, of learning how to see with new eyes.  Good luck with it!
