Looking across Loch Lurgainn from the slopes of Stac Pollaidh, It's been a while since Ive been to the west coast although I am planning on a possible trip to Skye this saturday

An evocative image. Better visibility than when I was last there, but the weather looks similar otherwise - cold, wet & windy.

Excellent.
A perfect example of why - if you are planning a photographic expedition to the west coast of Scotland - you should never be deterred just because the weather has turned a bit shitey.
