Hi everyone,

Today I had a long shoot on location tethered to my laptop (new i7 quad macbook pro 17"), and noticed a considerable slowdown in tethering and preview rendering using Capture One while on the laptop's internal battery power only.

I use one of the HyperMac batteries (it's great) but we ran out of power towards the end of the day.

In the Energy Saver setting, I have it set to use the more powerful graphics card all the time, but I see no other way to adjust things.

Any ideas on how to remedy this? It's as if the processor is not at full speed to conserve battery life.

Cheers, thanks very much.

Did you also uncheck the sleep mode of the HD in the energy saver settings?
