   Has anyone used this ? t seems to do an awesome job for portraits. Just would like to see if anyone has used it and Results.  Thanks, rollsman

A sheet of foam core, a utility knife, some gaffers tape and a couple of lights stands and you can achieve the same effect, plus several variations. Unless you want a generic wrap around light with no real dimension that can't be adjusted to the subject and looks the same on each one.

I have one bought from B&H in NYC, as the price here in Oz was/is ridiculous. It’s better in theory than practice, I think, as the clamps don’t hold really well in my experience. But it does pack up well for outside jobbies.

I use the circular but otherwise functionally similar FlexFill system. I like idea of the triflector's handles but the bracket seems a bit silly. I've got the Joe McNally Triflector system in my reviewer's queue so stay tuned.

I also am no stranger to the x-acto and Fomecore route but if you are doing location work the spring rimmed reflector/ scrim / flag system works well as it is more compact and easier to move around with than pieces of fomecore.

I also really like Chimera's 48x48 and 72x72 inch frame and panel system.
