Show me where the light is as powerful with those as PB's, then you'll have a good point.

640ws + Laser reflector focused at 11 degrees in bright daylight at 36 feet = f16 @ 250th at ISO 100   (That's what so amazing). It over powers the sun and makes the background look like night. It will not fit on Elinchrom lights because the focus is not right with them.

It does look pretty sweet, almost 4 stops more efficient than a standard beauty dish? The only downside would be that it is a pretty narrow beam of light, and is almost too efficient. It would be harder to use at normal distances or indoors, and you might not be able to power the light down enough when using it close in. Seems pretty specialized for sports or for overpowering the sun.

But it's NOT a beauty dish. It is for sports and fast moving targets. When used with the PB Einstein light, you can use it at 1/2000th.

That makes sense... efficiency to reduce output to shorten flash duration. Nice!

Hmmm. I don't know. Does it say it will work with other lights besides PB and Elichrom? It seems like if he wanted to market to Elinchrom he would have made it work, or had an alternate. maybe an Elinchrom market would have been nice, but not necessary? Maybe Elinchrom users will buy the Einstein and Laser combination? Pretty cheap.

It's nice how the Einstein has what cannon calls High Speed Synch. Really nice.
