Hasselblad H3D-50 rent in Bahrain / Dubai / UAE etc. ?

Hello,

I am looking for a dealer to rent another Hasselblad H3D-50 in Bahrain next week.
If there is no company in Bahrain - we would try to get the camera from Dubai or anywhere near by.

Any ideas?

I do NOT mean to stick my nose into someone else' business here. The H3D-50 is a great system. However, since it sounds like you're "stuck" I thought it wouldn't be too intrusive to mention that you could look into a P65+ on an H2 body or a Phase One body or a Leaf Aptus II-10 on an H2 or Phase One body (or either back on a Hassy V or Contax). Each would come with it's own set of advantages and disadvantages compared to the H3D-50 which I won't get into (not the right time/place/thread).

Paul Jones (LL forum member) had pointed out this company as a possible resource for phase one in Dubai. I have NO experience with the company, but again since you're stuck I thought you'd appreciate any info you could get.

Hello,

any tips are welcome (!), but unfortunately I can only use Hasselblad H cameras for my job.
I own one H3D-50, but we thought about using two of them.

Other digital MF cameras or backs do all have the same "problem":

If you make an exposure of 10 seconds, you have to wait for 10 seconds.
If you do so with the H3, you have to wait only 1 second...
(even if you use 32s - waiting time is 1 second)

I have to take longtime exposures (3 - 20 seconds) in a show with a duration of max 9 minutes.
No time for "waiting".

Maybe I will bring an old RB with 6x8 film back.

Gotchya. Glad you have a tool that works for you! I know how frustrating it can be when a very specific niche feature is not in the general market place and how cool it is to find a tool that has it!
