Books are a great way of learning for me. To start I believe Ansel Adams books are a must. Looking at lots of photographs is a must too, so start building a collection of books. Michael Johnston´s suggestions are very fine. You can find those in his column in this site. This a very good website for learning, and there´s a vast amount of high quality info.

Could someone please advise me on where is the best place to do a homestudy or on-line course in Photography with a recognised qualification, preferably diploma or higher that doesn't cost the earth, is thorough and straighforward and can be done in Ireland. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks.
