Nikon D300 price cut?

This camera is going to be 18 mos old soon, (see the link below) that's a lifetime in a camera product cycles.

I want to buy it, but the Canon 50D is probably just as good and you get 28mm-135mm and 18mm-200mm lenses for the same price
