Nikon D3X quality with long exposures?

Hello,

I hope some one might be able to help me.

I am looking a purchasing a Nikon D3X to do long exposures between 30sec and 2 mins for light brushing purposes and would like to get some feed back on the quality of the images at these times from any one who has a Nikon D3X.

According to Thom Hogan,he tested his D3x and there should be no issues up to 5 minutes.

I'm very happy with my D3x,however my longest exposure times are about 15 seconds.
