My mouse isn't working well anymore, so time for a new one. I know for games that there can be a slight lag occasionally on the wireless mice (I read this in a review, I don't play games anymore so I don't know if this is true).

Has anyone experienced any issues with Photoshop/Lightroom with a wireless mouse? Any recommended models that you like?

I've been using an MS wireless mouse for several years. Have found it to be very precise and like not having to wrestle the cord. No problems.

I use the Apple Might Mouse. It's very precise and you can choose to only put one AA battery in it instead of 2. This makes it much lighter and easier to use.

One very important thing with wireless is battery life. Thie can be
completely circumvented by getting a mouse which comes with a
charging cradle for when you're not using it.

I haven't found battery life to be an issue at all with the MS mouse. I'm almost certain I've needed to change the batteries less than once a year. It stays on all the time, sitting there ready and waiting to go just like a regular mouse with a tail. I would consider having to put it in and out of a cradle to be something of a PITA.

Lag is not a wired/wireless issue - it's simply resolution and the pickup device.

I use a Logitech G5 laser wired at home and the wireless version at work. It comes with two batteries and a charging base. Both have more resolution than you'll ever need and are among the best in the world for performance and ergonomics. The G5 even has a weight cartridge so you can customize it's feel to taste.

I use Wacom tablets, although never the supplied mouse that comes with. The only way to go for image editing. I'd say it takes about a week to get comfortable with. The price is many many times higher than a mouse though.

Thanks for the responses, I need a new keyboard also so I think I am going to pick up a Logitech combo with laser mouse (LX 710). But I'll check out the VX and G5/G7 before I buy.
