An interesting telling of the background story to the decline and fall of the old photographic business model. It’s very well articulated, even if first impressions of the speaker might have given some of us cause for doubt.

The Decline of Photojournalism: How American Business Killed the Photo Essay.

I had hoped the line above would form a live link, but it didn’t. I’ll check to see if it’s enough to feed it into Google to do the trick.

Checked: it works. The first video that pops up, by Jared Thomas Tapy.

It covers much more than photojournalism, going into the stock photo business too.
