ColorSync always prints centered
« on: April 08, 2025, 03:25:33 pm »

ColorSync print always centers the TIF file on the page. I dont see any configuration option, is this really like this or am I missing something ?

You're going to have to explain this a bit more. At least by using Photoshop Application Manages Color (ColorSync button ON), I can move the image away from the center. Are you saying this is your setting, and you see it off-center in Print With Preview, yet the print prints in the center?????

No, I meant the ColorSync utility application itself. I use it to print the targets. I open the TIF file with ColorSync utility (File -> Open) and then Print, and it always centers, I dont see any option to disable this.

Unlike PS, I see no option. Why would it matter? Are you making these targets or just trying to print someone else's targets?

I just checked on Sonoma. This is correct. I agree this is an issue, with some scanners like the DTP-70 you want the target to start at a specific distance from the edge of the paper.

My suggestion would be to extend the image using an image processing program - PS? - until it is almost paper-sized, with the target stuff at the right place on the sheet.

I hope this very belated reply is of use to you.
