Canon Ds1 Mk3 Battery options

Hello ! Am very keen to keep beloved trusty Ds1Mk3 going. Battery is fading and original LP-E4 battery is no longer made. What 100% original Canon options exist please? Aware of some using LP-E19 designed for 1Dx Mk3 in this older body, is anyone using these? And how do they behave in operation? I would prefer to avoid 3rd party copies. Thank you for any help here !

No idea and I didn't know that LP-E19 batteries could be used instead. When my Canon-made batteries died a few years ago, I found no stock for replacement and in the end I had to purchase 3rd party batteries. So far, I'm happy with them but I always check for leaks or swelling.

If buying third party batteries buy one and check it works before buying more. That vintage should be fine but the modern cameras check the batteries are genuine and won't turn on if not.
