A Question about LR History

Hello All,

My edits are sometime spread over week, even years. Is there way to timestamp  (or some other trick) what is in history to know when the last edit was done. As it is now, I cannot distinguish between a minute ago and years ago.

You can make a Smart Collection with the "Edit Date" and a parameter (Is before, after, in the last etc) then a time frame for those attributes. There are also parameters like "Has Edit", "Has Adjustments" which you can also use depending on what you want to filter.

I don't know if this would help you.  But I make regular snapshots every time I make a serious edit to an image.  By default the snapshot is created with the date it was made.  So what I do is immediately make a snapshot of the image as it is imported.  And then I make snapshots every time I make a significant  edit - so one could be tweaked contrast, one cropped 1x1 A, another Cropped 1x1 B etc etc.  I don't keep the dates which LR automatically produces but you could.  So that could help you.

Lightroom Classis stores the timestamp for every edit you make but does not show it.
