Sad to hear of the great man’s death today.

One of the few with a truly worthwhile motivation for spending such a long career in photography.

If I heard correctly, it was something to do with malaria that he contracted some ten years ago.

He was only 81 years old.

It worked for me in Australia, despite not being a subscriber to the NY Times. The images are amazing (although the context is dreadful     ).

I noticed the following statement as I read the article.
