Epson P900 Cyan nozzle keeps clogging

My Epson P00 worked like a charm for several years, but during a recent heat spell totally clogged all nozzles. After 7 print head cleanings over 72 hours it unclogged. The Cyan nozzle was the most resistant to clearing. Now, after a week the Cyan nozzle is clogged again. It took three print head cleanings to unclog. Any insights about why the Cyan nozzle is being the problem? Another forum suggested it could be an electronic problem and that I should check to see if the signal ribbon is firmly attached to the print head. Any body know how to do this?. And does anybody have any suggestions about solving the Cyan nozzle clogging problem?
 I am only using Epson inks.

I don't have a "good" answer for you, but in my dry climate a few nozzles were clogged, did several cleanings, the clogs annoyingly moved to other colors.  I finally replaced a couple low carts and that seemed to clear all colors/nozzles (even ones I didn't change the cart on).  Been fine since (knock on wood).

Not an attractive option if you have no carts that are nearing replacement.
