Hi,
This issue drive me crazy and no idea at all ...
The Epson p800, when print on glossy paper using Epson legacy baryta or Canson Infinity Platine Fibre Rag, the print out is fine on 90% of printed area, and got strange distortion at the end of the print, see attached for details
The same printer print 100% fine on matte paper ...
Any help is appreciated
Thanks

If the paper is slightly curving down as it feeds to the output tray, try putting something on the output tray to keep the paper perfectly flat as it feeds. The angle of the paper may be raising the tail end of the media, putting it too close to the print head. Just a guess.

My take, having not experienced this exact issue: As Randy implied: fix the head strike, then see if there's still a problem.

Radical solution you may say, but works 100% of the time - use roll paper. No end to the paper, so no problem.

This behavior results from too little grip of the media transportation rolls at the end of the paper (sorry for my "englisch"). I saw this behavior on my P800s, too.
Sometimes using the front feed fixes the problem, sometimes I just had to use more margin at the end of the print.
I remember having read about using sand paper to increase the grip of those tiny transportation rolls, but I have not tested that myself yet.

Really appreciate all the feedback, Yes, I have fixed it !
Turn out the media type is wrong, Canson told me to use Epson exhibition fibre and the paper thickness is 3, which cause the problem, once I change to 5 then everything is perfect !
