Bail out on your shopping cart for additional discounts.

On-line Xmas shopping, I've had 3 occurrences where I got by name & address, but then bailed out due to outrageous shipping charges or delayed shipping times. In each one I shortly received e-mails asking me to "complete my cart", and offering a 10% to 20% discount to do so. Interesting. Sounds like there is a game afoot.
