Would Appreciate Opinion
« on: July 22, 2022, 04:56:10 pm »

If anyone here likes these two, I have a question.

TREE ONE & BENT TREE   -I am seeing these two presented as a pair printed to identical heights with each’s respective width; with Tree One on the left. I think Bent Tree is strong by itself. I am not as sure about Tree One.
I am unsure:
How to present
them in “frames”.
Also, my concern is that associating tree one with bent tree dilutes. Whether bent tree alone would be stronger. Any Thoughts?

Thanks if you have any, -t
(and if you hate both, nevermind

Personally I like "Bent Tree" a lot more, and think it would be stronger by itself.

I like them both, but Bent Tree is stronger, IMHO.

ANother vote for bent tree. But let me add that, IMO, your processing leaves a lot to be desired. The whites appear blown out and the dark bark is only gray. First thind I'd try is reducing exposure.

Interesting compositions.  But as Peter said, did you want such bright results?  The whites appeared clipped, blown out.

That's a problem for him but not your images?
There is this (and many more such examples):

We know nothing about his exposure without a raw or original capture. But he could reduce brightness (as could Alan).  ;)
