Last week I had the chance to test the Canon Imageprograf TM-300. It's a 36" printer with only five inktanks (C/M/Y/K/MBk) and is advertised as a fast CAD and posterprinting machine. I was pretty impressed by the quality it delivers as a photo printer though. There's very little color quality difference to my old and defunct IPF 8400. Gloss differential is a bit more present. But regarding its low price I could live with that.
Has anyone had any experiences with this printer? Especially in respect to the lighfastesness of the prints and experiences with various media.
