lexjet water resistant satin cloth/print and sick fabric

Anyone have experience with this product? Curious about image quality, shadow detail, color... I like the idea of it's durability and adhesive backing.

No experience with it, sorry.  I do print regularly on their Sunset Production Matte, which is 100% polyester.  I'd imagine the product you mention has similar qualities.
You'd probably have to make a profile if you intended printing photographs.  It appears to be signage and graphics presentation media.

They're very good with supplying samples.  I asked for some of the Sunset Production Matte and they sent me several sheets quickly.

Have not used Lexjets product but have read somewhere it is on par with PhotoTex which we use alot of.
PhotoTex is $1.01 a square foot and Lexjet, $1.47. Has to be some kind of difference for the 50% higher price.

No photography but they do look pretty good. We run batches of advertising posters. Stores put them on walls and windows when they have sales.
What is turning you off about canvas? I have to ask if you have a stretcher machine? I have the 60” Gallery Stretcher machine and would not be in the canvas business without it.

Too much effing work.  I don't get paid, I'm retired.  I do it for fun and the fun is rapidly disappearing, as is my wall space.

Most fun for me nowadays is glossy media stuck to half inch self-stick gator.  Easy-peasy, looks great, costs too much.

Thought you were selling, that's different. Another option if you want a little nicer finish are the UltraBoard with edge banding. Very similar to gator board. Comes edge banded with the adhesive attached. Pull the liner back and stick your print on. No laminator required. Flip over and trim your bleed with a razor and done. Looking for simple and neat, they fit the bill.

Both Photo Tex and Lexjet print similarly. Neither look as good as regular canvas but if overcoated with a glossy finish still look decent. I've used both over several years but still prefer a good quality canvas for fine art.

PhotoTex has a fair amount of texture and the gamut of the print leaves something to be desired but it has a great adhesive that sticks well but is easily removable/repositionable.  A slightly different product that might meet your needs better if you are doing fine art photography is Breathing Colors Photo Peel Glossy.  That is a shiny vinyl substrate that is capable of producing a very nice image that comes close to a glossy photo paper.  Downsides are the adhesive isn't as strong so I've had them peel off walls and because it is a very thin flexible substrate any texture on the wall comes through.  That second point is the big issue for me so I don't use the product but if you were applying it to glass or metal it might not be a problem.

I really wish there were an adhesive backed canvas. Imagine the print quality of something like Lexjet Sunset Select Matte canvas, with the adhesive qualities of the Print N Stick fabric or PhotoTex. This really would make my print life so much more simple.  Perhaps I'm asking too much..
