A few days scouting around in the whites, just looking for something different. Clear skies made it mostly a scouting trip, and I really didn't come up with much, but sort of at the last minute I spotted something, geared up to go into the backcountry and check it out. I felt like this tree called to me from a great distance...

Excellent work. Personally, I prefer there days to aim for true colours in the night sky; seems your choice was more towards the blue/purple?

Shame about that light pollution but you handled it well. The image is beautiful and I agree that is a great tree.
